Flourescent & Strip
Fluorescent and Strip Lights are great for their flexability and use in a variety of applications. Commonly used in commercial, retail and industrial applications, they can also be used for kitchens (under bench) or bathrooms along with less formal rooms such as garages and rumpus rooms.

Fluorescent Strip Lighting comes in a variety of sizes from straight, round, tubes and lamps along with low voltage options. The number of lamp combinations per fluro can also alter with 2 being the most common.

Fluoro Battens
Fluorescent battens offer an energy efficient, cost effective, alternative lighting solution which benefits both the user and the environment. Fluorescent lamps use less electricity than an standard incandescent lamp, last longer and give off less heat, making them a cost effective lighting alternative.

Many of our battens are sold complete with Tri-Phosphor lamps which provide even more ‘light’ using less energy. In addition, these lamps offer improved colour rendering and the linear distribution of light is uniform for more effective illumination of your kitchen, garage or work area.
Fluoro Oysters
Quality circular fluorescent lamps are the ideal partner for energy saving oysters. Triphosphor circular fluorescent lamps feature high colour rendering capabilities and consistent light output over their 3000 hour average rated life.

The tubes are available in 22w, 32w and 40w versions and feature a ‘natural’ colour temperature of 5000k. The 32w version is also available in a ‘daylight’ model with a colour temperature of 6000k.
Benefits
Circular fluorescent lamps provide significant energy savings when compared to standard incandescent lamps.

A 22w circular fluorescent produces roughly the same light output as a 75w GLS lamp but uses less then 30% of its energy. The 32w tube is approximately equivalent in light output to a 120w incandescent lamp, with the 40w tube being proportionate to a 160w lamp.

Circular fluorescents are best used in situations where they are on for extended periods of time and subjected to infrequent switchings on and off.
